Best Website Redesign Agencies for Service Businesses in 2026

Most lists of redesign agencies are written for universities, SaaS companies and enterprise brands, with budgets that start at $25,000. A plumber, an accounting firm or a physio clinic needs a different shortlist. We read the redesign pages of five studios that publish a price on 27 October 2026 and put them side by side, from a $637 WordPress rebuild to a $100,000 fixed-fee project, with what each price includes.

Best Website Redesign Agencies for Service Businesses in 2026

Key takeaways

  • Five studios publish a redesign price on their own pages. WP BigBang (from $637), Britt Creative ($1,000 to $25,000 and up), theCSS Agency ($2,500 to $6,000 for builds), Flowout ($15,000 to $40,000 for a small full redesign) and Huemor (most rebuilds $50,000 to $100,000).
  • The order follows the lowest published starting price. It says nothing about quality, and nobody paid for a place.
  • The ranking lists we read are built for larger budgets. The top list for this search groups fifteen US agencies in bands that start at $25,000 and calls those bands "directional".
  • What protects a service business is in the scope, not the price. Look for redirects from every old service and location page, kept page titles, and working call and booking buttons on launch day.
  • Three ranking pages had figures that did not match a source. We list them below so you can check quotes against the right number.

The short answer

If you run a local service business with a five to nine page site and want it rebuilt fast, WP BigBang publishes fixed WordPress plans from $637 for up to five pages. If you need new structure, new copy and an SEO move handled for you, Britt Creative's published redesign band of $3,000 to $15,000 is the range most service businesses will land in. If the site has to win larger contracts and you have the budget, Huemor's published fixed fee of $50,000 to $100,000 includes strategy, copywriting and migration.

Disclosure: we are a design studio that also redesigns websites, so we left ourselves out of the table. Each entry sticks to what the studio's own page stated on 27 October 2026. Our terms are in a separate section near the end.

Why the usual lists do not fit a service business

On 27 October 2026 we searched Google (US results, English) for "best website redesign agencies for service businesses". The results were Awwwards' gallery of agency websites, Superside's list of twelve redesign companies (30 November 2025), Digital Retail Partners' list for small and medium businesses (27 November 2025), BinaryWorks' fifteen agencies (27 August 2026), a Reddit thread, The Business Toolkit, Phenomenon Studio and Excited. Google marked several results "Missing: redesign", so the word was not even on those pages.

We read the BinaryWorks list in full. It is careful and useful for a university or a health system, and it is upfront that its budget bands are "directional, drawn from publicly stated minimums and typical project scope". Its lowest band is $25,000 to $75,000. A service business with ten pages and one phone number is not who it was written for.

Superside's list names twelve companies and gives no prices. It also says every $1 spent on UX returns $100 and calls that "a considerable 9,9% return on investment". A $100 return on $1 is a 9,900% return, so the figure on the page is wrong by a long way.

None of the pages we read put prices for small sites next to what each price includes. That is what the table below does.

Every figure is the US dollar amount printed on each page, read on 27 October 2026. Tax and the cost of the platform itself sit on top.

WP BigBang

WP BigBang works only in WordPress and prints three redesign plans on its page. Basic is $637 for up to five pages, Standard is $735 for up to seven pages, and Premium is $845 for up to nine pages, each a one-off fee. Payment is split into three: 50% to start, 30% after you see the first design and 20% when the site is done. On the Basic plan that is $318.50, $191.10 and $127.40, which adds back to $637.

The page lists what every plan includes: a check of the old site, moving your pages, posts and images across, keeping each old web address or pointing it to its new page, carrying over page titles and descriptions, speed scores before and after, and a free first year of hosting. It also says the files, database and domain are yours once the work is done.

Good fit: a local service business with a small WordPress site that needs a clean rebuild and its content moved. Weak point: the page gives no office location, and the price assumes you supply the content on time, since the 14 day clock starts when it arrives.

Britt Creative

Britt Creative publishes three bands and a timeline for each: a refresh at $1,000 to $3,000 over 1 to 3 weeks, a redesign at $3,000 to $15,000 over 4 to 12 weeks, and a rebuild at $8,000 to over $25,000 over 8 to 16 weeks. It says its small business redesign work "currently" runs $3,000 to $15,000 and that these are its own bands, not a claim about every agency.

Its redesign scope is the most complete list we read for a small business: audit, discovery, sitemap and navigation changes, wireframes, custom design, copywriting, content restructuring, development, SEO migration, URL mapping, 301 redirects, testing and launch monitoring.

Good fit: a service business whose navigation, services or message have changed since the site was built. Weak point: the bands overlap ($8,000 to $15,000 could be a redesign or a rebuild), so ask which one your quote is.

theCSS Agency

theCSS Agency builds in Webflow. Its pricing guide (last updated 16 September 2026) states its own redesign build rates "at the accessible end" of the market: roughly $2,500 to $3,000 for a refresh of about seven pages, $2,500 to $4,500 for a 12 to 15 page redesign, and $3,200 to $6,000 for a rebuild of about 20 pages, with enterprise and heavy migration work quoted separately.

The page has one internal mismatch. Its summary says upkeep after launch starts at $700 a month, while its list of hidden costs says "from ~$750/month", and Google's snippet of the same page showed $600. Ask which figure applies before you sign a support plan.

Good fit: a business moving to Webflow with a clear page list and copy already written. Weak point: there is no timeline for its own builds (its FAQ gives market ranges) and no office location.

Flowout

Flowout is a Webflow studio with offices listed in Maribor, Slovenia and Wilmington, Delaware. Its redesign guide (updated 9 September 2026) says its ranges reflect what it charges. A landing page refresh is $2,500 to $8,000, a full redesign of up to 15 pages is $15,000 to $40,000, and a site of 20 or more pages is $35,000 to $90,000 and up. Its retainers are $5,900 a month and up for development only, $7,900 with design and $9,900 with copywriting, and hourly packages start at $2,500.

The guide says copywriting is usually not included in its small redesign band and suggests budgeting $3,000 to $15,000 for it. It gives a timeline of 8 to 12 weeks for a site of up to 15 pages. The same page gives two different timelines for large sites: 10 to 20 weeks in the body and 14 to 20 weeks in the FAQ.

One line is out of date. The guide says "Webflow's CMS plan is $23/month". On 27 October 2026 Webflow's pricing puts Basic at $15 a month and Premium (the plan with the CMS) at $25 a month, both billed yearly.

Good fit: a B2B service firm that wants Webflow and has a marketing team to edit it. Weak point: the bands are written for SaaS and B2B companies, and a small local business will usually be paying for more than it needs.

Huemor

Huemor's redesign page says most of its rebuilds fall between $50,000 and $100,000 as a one-time fixed fee. That fee includes digital strategy, UI and UX design, full-stack development, copywriting, graphics, data entry and migration, technical SEO, analytics setup, editor guidelines, two weeks of post-launch support and "full ownership of design and development upon completion". It gives average timelines of 3 to 4 months for small, simple websites and 4 to 6 months for moderately complex ones. Its headquarters is listed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The BinaryWorks list places Huemor in Farmingdale, New York with a band of $50,000 to $150,000. Huemor's own page gives Pittsburgh and $50,000 to $100,000 for most rebuilds, so use the studio's page.

Good fit: a larger B2B service firm that wants messaging, copy and design handled by one team. Weak point: it is well above most small business budgets.

What a service business must keep through a redesign

A service business earns enquiries from a small number of pages: each service, each town or suburb you cover, reviews, and the contact page. A redesign that looks better but drops those pages can cost more in lost calls than the build itself. Put these items in the written scope:

  1. A redirect for every old service and location URL. Britt Creative and WP BigBang both state this in scope. If a quote does not mention redirects, ask for them in writing. Our redesign SEO checklist has the steps.
  2. Page titles and descriptions carried over on pages that already bring visits, before anything is rewritten.
  3. Click-to-call, booking and form buttons tested on the live site on launch day, on a phone.
  4. Reviews and licence or insurance details kept visible. Trust details are often lost when a template changes.
  5. Each service on its own page. One page that lists every service rarely ranks for any of them. See how to design a services page.
  6. Analytics and Search Console still connected after the domain points at the new site.

If you work in a specific trade, our guides for plumbers, lawyers and dentists list the pages each one needs.

Before you sign

Ask each studio whether the quote is a refresh, a redesign or a rebuild, whether copywriting is included, whether the timeline starts at payment or when your content arrives, and who owns the files, platform account and domain at the end. To line the answers up, use our agency scorecard. If you are weighing a freelancer instead, read agency vs freelancer vs in-house. For timing, see how long a website redesign takes.

How we work

We redesign websites for service businesses, starting from how their buyers decide and fixing the message and structure before the visuals. A quote follows the scope of the job and is never based on hours. Payment comes in three parts: 40% to begin, 30% at design approval and 30% before launch. Once you have paid the final 30%, the design, copy and code belong to you. The domain, hosting and analytics accounts sit in your name. A focused redesign of a small marketing site typically takes four to eight weeks, counted from the point the copy is agreed. See our conversion-focused website redesign service.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website redesign cost for a service business?

From the five studios we read on 27 October 2026, published prices run from $637 for a five page WordPress rebuild (WP BigBang) to $50,000 to $100,000 for a fixed-fee rebuild with copywriting (Huemor). Britt Creative's band of $3,000 to $15,000 for a small business redesign sits in the middle.

What is the difference between a refresh, a redesign and a rebuild?

Britt Creative's page puts it simply: a refresh updates colours, fonts, images and some copy on the same structure; a redesign changes the design, structure, navigation and content on the same platform; a rebuild changes the platform or the technology underneath. Each costs more than the one before.

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

It can if old addresses stop working. Ask for a redirect from every old URL to its closest new page, keep the titles of pages that already rank, and check Search Console in the weeks after launch.

How long does a website redesign take?

The published times range from 14 business days after content arrives (WP BigBang) to 3 to 4 months for a small site at Huemor. Britt Creative gives 4 to 12 weeks for a redesign. Late content and slow feedback are the usual cause of delays.

Is copywriting included in a redesign price?

It depends on the studio. Huemor includes it in its fixed fee and Britt Creative lists it in its redesign scope. Flowout says its small redesign band usually does not include copy and suggests $3,000 to $15,000 for it.

Why do ranking lists show different prices from the studio's own page?

A list freezes figures on the day it is written, and errors creep in. For example, BinaryWorks gives Huemor a different location and a higher top figure than Huemor's own page. Always check the studio's page and its date.
