Webflow vs Static Site on Cloudflare: What We Learned
We moved amariq.com from Webflow to a hand-coded static site on Cloudflare. Real costs, the checks that matter, and who each platform suits.
Webflow
Most Duda vs Webflow pages are written for agencies choosing a tool. This one is for the business owner whose site will run on one of them. It covers plan prices checked 16 October 2026, what the makers claim, and the account question that decides who is in control.
Webflow is one of the platforms Amariq builds on, and our founder, Rahat Khondokar, holds a Webflow developer certification. Because that gives us a commercial interest, treat this as a studio's view. Facts about Duda below come from Duda's own pages and from named reviews, read on the date shown, and each seller's claim is marked as the seller's.
Duda is a website platform aimed at agencies, freelancers and resellers who build many client sites. Its pricing page lists a team workspace, a client workspace with unlimited clients, role-based permissions and a white-label plan. Its editor leans on templates and ready-made widgets.
Webflow combines a visual design tool, a CMS and managed hosting. A designer lays out each page on a canvas, you pick a plan for every site you publish, and teams can add a Workspace plan on top. The pricing page also lists guest roles, so an agency or freelancer can work inside your Workspace without becoming a full member.
| Your situation | Better fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| An agency or reseller managing many standard client sites | Duda | Team seats, client workspace and white-label plans are built for that |
| One business that wants a custom-designed site | Webflow | You design the layout instead of adapting a template |
| A site with a large or structured content library | Webflow | A CMS with collections and 20,000 items on Premium |
| You want control of the account your site lives in | Webflow, or Duda in your own account | Ask who holds it either way |
| A brochure site delivered quickly from a template | Either | Decide on account ownership and price |
| Automating site creation at scale | Duda | Duda says its platform automation is built for it |
Prices were read on 16 October 2026 in US dollars. Duda says its prices apply per account and that annual plans are charged upfront. Webflow lists prices per site, billed yearly, with taxes added at checkout.

The Duda cells in this table come from LowCode Agency's September 2026 review and Duda's own pages. The Webflow cells come from its pricing page. Check the current feature list in your own account before you decide.
On a platform built for agencies, an agency can hold the account and invite you as a client, or it can build in an account you own. The two look the same on day one and very different on the day you want to leave.
Ask in writing:
On Webflow, you can create the site in your own Workspace and invite an agency as a guest, which the pricing page lists under its Workspace plans. Whichever platform you choose, the ownership terms belong in the contract, as we explain in our guide to hiring an offshore agency.
| Claim | From | Treat it as |
|---|---|---|
| Duda is number one in Google's Core Web Vitals Technology Report and leads in page speed | Duda's comparison page | A seller's claim about a report that changes over time |
| Webflow's APIs and automation are limited to one site at a time | Duda's comparison page | A seller's claim |
| Webflow's learning curve is steeper and needs HTML and CSS knowledge | Duda's comparison page | A seller's claim, though LowCode Agency points to Webflow University's free lessons |
| Webflow is the more powerful platform | Webflow's pages | A seller's claim |
Do not rely on speed claims. Run your own pages through PageSpeed Insights against the Core Web Vitals targets in our guide to the signs a site needs a redesign, and compare the same type of page on both platforms.
The two platforms do not share a site format, so a move between Duda and Webflow means rebuilding each page. List the addresses that bring traffic first, since those decide your redirect map. Leave the domain and the email records alone until launch day, and use Search Console before and after to see what changed. Our Webflow migration page covers the redirect map, and the Wix vs Webflow guide shows the same steps from another source platform.
Our first call at Amariq covers your goals and what the site has to do, and the proposal that follows names a platform. When that is Webflow, we build it so your own team can run it after a short handover. If you are comparing several platforms, our Webflow vs WordPress guide covers the wider choice, Squarespace vs Webflow vs Framer compares three more, and the best Webflow agencies for 2026 list covers the questions to ask a studio.
Neither is better for every site. Duda is built for agencies and resellers who deliver many template-led client sites quickly. Webflow is built for custom design and structured content. For one business, choose by how much design control you need and who will hold the account.
Duda is a website platform for agencies, freelancers and resellers. Its pricing page lists team seats, a client workspace, role-based permissions and a white-label plan, with prices that apply per account.
Not directly. On 16 October 2026 Duda lists $19 to $149 a month per account on annual billing, and Webflow lists $15 and $25 a month per site. They price different things, so compare the total for the plan that actually hosts your site, including any ecommerce or workspace add-ons.
Duda says it is first in Google's Core Web Vitals Technology Report, which is a claim about a report that changes. Speed depends on the site's images, scripts and build more than the platform. Test your own pages with PageSpeed Insights.
It depends on which account holds it and what your contract says. Duda's pricing page shows client workspaces and white-label plans for agencies, so an agency often holds the account. Ask in writing who owns the account, the domain and the content, and what you receive if you leave.
Yes. The pages are rebuilt on Webflow, since the two platforms do not share a site format. Keep your URLs, redirect any that change, protect your email records and watch Search Console afterwards.
Both let you set titles, descriptions and redirects, and both can rank. Webflow gives more direct control of structure and schema, while Duda includes SEO features in its templates. Rankings still come from content, links, speed and clean URLs.
Yes at the start. LowCode Agency and Duda describe Duda as easier to pick up, with templates and ready-made widgets. Webflow asks you to learn layout concepts, and it rewards that with more control. A studio can build the site so your team only edits content.
